We recently created this concept work for new barley-based drink brand, Bright Barley.
An 100% natural, non-dairy, vegan, barley-based drink, Bright Barley’s product offer perfectly fits the fun-loving but increasingly-concientious millennial generation.
Focus group research conducted on three very different concept routes indicated that the purity/naturalness & authenticity of the product should be championed, with the most calm & rural-looking route coming forward as favourite. The client wanted to bring more vibrance to the brand going forward, so we simplified & exaggerated the logo and brought high-impact, top-view photography into the brand assets.
To still ensure a touch of the pastoral we gave certain direction on supporting brand photography and, at the client’s request, pursued the traditional-style background pattern of barley.
MIXING IT UP
Bright Barley is a brand blending past and present, rural & urban, fast-paced and slowed-down. It’s about balance. Social, hustling millennials living in the rat race need to remember to take care of their bodies and refuel, with Bright Barley offering the perfect pick-me-up.
An ancient grain, barley has been used for 1000 years and is as celebrated today. Creating the heart device, which also reveals a tick, highlights the health benefits and could be used as a standalone. brand asset.
