Three Wise Monkeys, Three Wise Thoughts

ON YOUR MARKS, GET SET…

A wise man once said ‘the secret of getting ahead is getting started’ (thanks Mark Twain) and so, with 2019 slowly creaking into action, here at Three Monkey Design, we’re also doing the same.

There’s always promise and positivity at the start of the year, and at the Monkey House, it’s no different. We’re gearing up for a busy first quarter, with existing clients working on some really exciting projects. We’re also welcoming some new clients on board – a super beginning to 2019.

We’re also 25 years young this year, which we will be celebrating in style – so watch this space….

In the meantime, here are Three Monkey thoughts that we’ll be taking heed of to make this year even bigger and better for us and our clients.

1. SEE NO EVIL…

With the backlash against plastics still raging, more brands are looking to see how they can up their green credentials and cut their waste. Creativity in cardboard construction has never been more important, and we’re excited to see what new and wonderful things our team can create to help move clients towards more recyclable options.

Last year we made cardboard cake stands, created cardboard heads, helped our partners at Alexir develop a range of new nested tray products, and ended with a fully crafted cardboard Christmas, so who knows where 2019 will take us?

2. SPEAK NO EVIL…

86% of consumers stated that authenticity is a key differentiator that leads to a purchasing decision.

Transparency = authenticity = a trusted brand = more consumer interaction = more likelihood of buying. Which is why in 2019 we’re going to be more Monkey than ever. And, with 25 years of us to celebrate, there’s lots more to come….

3. HEAR NO EVIL…

This year, we promise to engage our ears. Be that listening to what our clients want, what our staff need, or what our prospective audience is looking for, this year it’s all about hearing things loud and clear. Understanding and processing what’s being said also leads to better questions – which in turn can lead to better solutions across the board.
